The new toilet facilities open up the church for use by the community in comfort!The local schools will no longer have the worry of dealing with sudden emergencies and will allow those disabled members of the community to participate fully in village life.

St Matthew's Church is today celebrating the news that it has received a £10,000.00 funding boost from SITA Trust for Worthington Church Improvements.Funding will enable provision of an easy access WC, kitchenette and easy access door and ramps. Heating modifications will also make the space more comfortable for all users.
