Projects

We offer applicants the opportunity to have a project homepage on the SITA Trust website. The page is the perfect place to add project updates, photos of work in progress and even videos!

If you'd like a project homepage give us a call or email communications@sitatrust.org.uk. We will send you the login details and a link to the 'how to' guide.

Your organisation's project page will allow you to:

  • • Upload photos and create an image gallery

  • • Write news and blog posts with the latest project updates

  • • Upload videos


  • Access the Buzz on the Millennium Green

    We plan to create a diverse range of habitats that are appropriate to the site conditions creating more feeding opportunities for birds, bees, bats and bugs thereby enriching the whole area. Within the wildflower meadow we wish to create a talking point by having a felled Ash tree carved

  • Worthington Church Improvements

    Provision of easy access WC; kitchenette and easy access door and ramps; heating modifications, for a useful space for ca. 100 people

  • Glen Vale Paths

    The aim of the project is to upgrade the footpath into the Lomond Hills to allow access to walkers and mountain bikers. The upgraded path will provide access to the Lomond Hills for the local communities of Leslie, Glenrothes and Strathmiglo.

  • Whitfield Valley Centre Gym Site Improvements

    The project will enable improvements to the facilities at the on site gym including installation of an air conditioning system, television installation in the gym and replacement seats for two recumbent cycles.

  • Friendly Bandroom Roof Replacement

    The existing roof has now started to leak so badly that the only solution is to replace it. This a massive outlay to a small organisation like the Friendly Band and could have threatened the existence of the band in its spiritual home area. This grant will make a huge difference to the Band. It will allow for the repairs to be carried out, securing the Bands future, securing the building and allowing the Bandroom to be used by the local community.

  • Studio B Investment Project

    This project aims to improve the dance studio with a new acoustic ceiling, new sliding doors, relaying the dance floor and installing new studio wall mirrors.

  • Ecclesbourne Riparian Improvement Project

    The project will help to restore the River Ecclesbourne at selected sites along its bank and tributaries. Works will include pulling Himalayan balsam and eradicating Japanese Knotweed; restoring ponds and wetland features; and supporting landowenrs reduce point and diffuse sources of pollution.

  • Wiltshire School of Gymnastics

    Removal of dilapidated kitchen that does not meet current hygiene regulations and install a modern stainless steel kitchen so designed to allow adequate cleaning and disinfection with sealed floor.

  • Perth Tennis Club

    The upgrading and resurfacing of playing facilities at Perth Tennis Club. This project will construct x4 new all-weather polymeric tennis courts.
